Environmental Policy

Our aim is to help our customers minimise their environmental footprint. We offer a plastic-free alternative to many products that would traditionally contain plastic. We also offer some products made with recycled plastic as well as cleaning products that have the lowest possible environmental impact.

All of our suppliers have environmental policies in place. For example, our tissue products come from Sweden and Finland where environmental regulations are strict and sustainable forestry is the norm. Trees are re-planted and cared for in responsible forestry, our biggest supplier for paper cups – also operating in the Nordic – routinely planting three or four to replace each one they cut down.

If you would like further information on the eco-credentials of our products, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Our staff have been made aware of any adverse environmental effects of products that they may be asked about, to be able to advise our customers as appropriate. We can always compare and contrast different products and will always be able to recommend the best solution for the customers with ecology as one of their priorities.

We keep the water and energy usage on our premises to a minimum. Systematic examination of our own activities is carried out and steps are taken to minimise the environmental impact of our operations in the most effective way. We seek to further decrease the use of paper in our offices, progressively utilising modern technology for communication and archive storage.

Our deliveries are optimised so that as many customers as possible are served on any one trip, not saving only fuel but also time, minimising the waiting period for customers.
